Itinerary
- Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
- Day 2: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
- Day 3: Dades – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech
Departure from Fes in the morning towards the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” then continue through cedar forests where you may see wild monkeys. Pass through Midelt for lunch and enjoy panoramic views of the Ziz Valley. Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon where you begin a camel trek into the Sahara Desert. Watch the sunset over the dunes and arrive at your desert camp. Enjoy a traditional dinner, Berber music, and an overnight stay in a comfortable tent.
Wake up early to witness a beautiful sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, ride camels or transfer back to the village. Depart towards the impressive Todra Gorges, famous for its high canyon walls and natural beauty. Enjoy a walk through the gorge and lunch nearby. Continue to the Dades Valley, known for its unique rock formations and scenic landscapes. Stop at viewpoints for photos before reaching your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Dades Valley.
After breakfast, travel through the Valley of Roses and the Skoura oasis. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a famous ksar used in many films. Continue across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, offering spectacular views. Stop for breaks and photos along the way. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, marking the end of your desert adventure.
