Itinerary
- Day 1: Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Dades Valley
- Day 2: Dades Valley → Todra Gorges → Merzouga Desert
Depart from Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass, enjoying panoramic views along the way. Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a historic fortified village known for its traditional architecture. After exploring, pass through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses before reaching the beautiful Dades Valley for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, head toward the spectacular Todra Gorges, where towering canyon walls create a dramatic landscape. Continue through desert villages to reach Merzouga Desert. In the afternoon, enjoy a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, watch the sunset, and spend the night in a desert camp under the stars.
- Day 3: Merzouga Desert Experience
- Day 4: Merzouga → Rissani → Draa Valley → Ouarzazate
Wake early to witness a magical sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga Desert. Spend the day exploring the desert region, visiting nomadic families and discovering oasis villages. Optional activities include sandboarding or a 4x4 excursion. Enjoy another peaceful night in the desert or a nearby hotel.
After breakfast, depart the desert and visit Rissani, known for its traditional market. Continue through the scenic Draa Valley, famous for its palm groves and kasbahs, before arriving in Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight.
- Day 5: Ouarzazate → Marrakech
- Day 6: Marrakech Guided Tour & Departure
Leave Ouarzazate and return to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains. Enjoy scenic stops along the way and arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon. Free time to explore the city.
On your final day, explore the highlights of Marrakech, including the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the beautiful Bahia Palace. After the visit, transfer to the airport, marking the end of your Moroccan adventure.
